‘11 Hours of Clouds’ is an artist book documenting the performance/installation made inside the flight KL751 connecting Guayaquil-Amsterdam. This flight is 11 hour long and it is an inspiering place for me to make art projects. In this case I made an installation under the tray table of the airplane with paper tape and marker ink. The paper tape was holding the marker ink hanging from the traytable, making a structure for the ink to be held above the paper. The marker ink was meant to drip in the toilet paper for the duration of the flight creating an 11 hour artwork that could cover the whole Atlantic Ocean. A very big toilet paper sunset/cloud between the city I was born in and the city in which I currently live.

This installation and performance is documented both by me and the passenger sitting next to me with photos. In the artist book we find the photos and a semi fictional narration of the flight.
