Black Java Bamboo, Guadua Bamboo, Various Textiles, and Magnets
An exploration in architectonic qualities in sculpture while incorporating previous qualities of my work like lightness, detachability and suspension.
The shape is inspired by Bamboo architecture in the litoral of Ecuador and spaces that have a thin separation between interior and exterior as well as bamboo and paper lamps and ornamental paper and textile ephemeral decorations.
The sculpture can host people inside.
