Compost Compositions is a photo series documenting peels, seeds, sheels and stems of food in the brief moment after I have cooked and before I feed it to my worms. I started doing these photos during the first Co-vid lockdown in Amsterdam. During those days we were wondering what would change and what would remain after the pandemic. In the lack on contact with people the house became lively. The worm hotel and the food grabbed my attention as companions and as symbols of constant decomposition, ephemerality and change.
Every now and then I make a new composition with a total new and different intention.
