My parents are both good and bad
‘my parents are both good and bad’ is a kinetic sculpture with toilet papers hanging from the ceiling, rolling and unrolling on a loop with the help of arduinos and stepper motors. 

A longside the sculpture there is a song playing, also plays on a loop. The songs lyrics are made by different combinations of the word good and bad, is a loopy declaration of entangled intentions of wanting ‘very badly to do good’ and wanting to ‘do bad so well’. Mixing both adjectives it creates a loop between good and bad which is not possible to dettach or stop. The polyphonic song together with the slow pace of the toilet papers create a calm, enchanting effect.
