A collaborative book initiated by Carolina Velasco with the participation of Micaela Koening Drouet, Ines Guerrero, Bry Espinosa Rodríguez, Karin Iturralde Nurnberg and mafe moscoso. This book was an invitation to share the pulse of the loose line as an editorial project that lays at the margins of the visual arts and literature, between editorial practices and artist books.
Part of the invitation was to approach language in its material forms. What language is made of? What does language materialy activate? What is language before it is meaning? In the book there is approaches of language as found objects, as miscommunication, as affective reach, as intrusive thoughts and as the pleasure of extending oneself in language before meaning. All elements of language that are often left aside in formal practice. Elements and approaches to language that don’t take us directly anywhere but let us stay in deconstruction, dissolving gestures into new possibilities of future and pleasure. Holding the many ways in which we exist in language and outside of it.
