Something to Hold in the Let Go is a collective formed by Clementine Edwards, Dagmar Bosma, Raoni Muzho Saleh, Sophie de Serière and I. Together we did a show in puntWG where we spent a week sharing our practices with each other. We all work with inpermanent materials or gestures, finidng our way around the ungraspable and loss. We had three public sessions: On Thursday we opened the space for our community to come and spend 5 hours spent in collective creative process with us. We were surprised to see how much people came and were eager to engage with making things and leaving them behind in the space for us to present in the finissage of our show. On Friday we held a Maizena meditation workshop were we explored the time of maizena and touch. On Sunday we collected all the elements done by 30+ people in a gorgeous collective installation called ‘GAY SKY’, a multimedia gathering of connected threads with dangling detail
